BURIED ABOVE GROUND is a documentary film that interweaves the unforgettable stories of a veteran home from Iraq, a Hurricane Katrina survivor, and a woman who endured child abuse, domestic violence and rape, all battling the symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
PTSD is a potentially devastating anxiety disorder that develops after exposure to a serious traumatic event such as a combat, rape, domestic assault, terrorist attack, bombing, or natural disaster. BURIED ABOVE GROUND takes the realities of living with PTSD out of the shadows and allows audiences to experience the emotional, medical, and spiritual costs of this growing mental health epidemic. |
